The Babar Series of books was created when Jean's wife Cécile de Brunhoff imagined the adventures of an Elephant leaving the jungle for a city like their hometown of Paris to comfort the couples children at night. The children liked the stories so much they asked their father Jean de Brunhoff, a painter at the time to create illustrations to go with the stories.

Orders are usually shipped with Royal Mail, however we also use DPD or UPS depending on the size of parcel. Once shipped, you will be sent your tracking number and you will be updated on your parcel's progress by either text or email. You will also be able to manage your delivery, including requests to leave parcels in a safe place/ with a neighbour and to arrange re-delivery.
Larger Items:
An additional charge of £20 will be applied to items that are larger, heavier and more difficult to send. Items with an additional charge will have it stated in the product description under "Delivery". These items require special care and different delivery requirements to standard courier services.
